Caring People Announces Acquisition of home services agency in New Jersey,
Halcyon Elder Care – the first of many slated for 2021
WEST PALM BEACH FL, April 21, 2021 – Caring People, a family-owned and operated licensed home care agency serving over 25,000 clients over the last two decades, has announced the addition of Halcyon Elder Care, a New Jersey-based private pay Care Management and Home Services company.
According to the most recent U.S. Census Bureau’s population estimates, over 1.2 million residents in New Jersey are 65 years or older, that’s about 15% of the state’s population. With baby boomers continuing to age rapidly, the need for a unified home healthcare front is becoming ever more pressing. It’s always at the forefront of Caring People’s mission to continue joining forces with local agencies to provide seniors with the best possible level and continuum of care available. Caring People officially merged with Halcyon Elder Care on April 13th of this year.
“I formed Halcyon out of my home with a vision of providing the best quality of life possible for seniors, along with individuals with disabilities,” said Meg Smith-Mindell, Founder and President of Halcyon Elder Care, “it is beyond exciting to provide even more services to our clients that bring comfort, peace of mind, and joy to them and their families.” As a prominent home services agency in New Jersey, Halcyon services Ocean and Monmouth Counties, expanding Caring People’s footprint further throughout southern New Jersey.
“We continue to add additional specialties to serve the senior population, in tandem, we look for companies that strongly align with our company values – Meg has built a strong team and care delivery infrastructure and shares a similar mission to serving seniors and their family members. I’m looking forward to integrating Halcyon and introducing their services to our existing clients in New Jersey and expanding those services to other Caring People markets,” says Steven East, CEO at Caring People.
Halcyon Elder Care increases the care services provided by Caring People, introducing counseling, psychotherapy, senior fitness programs, caregiver support groups, and pet therapy. “The addition of these services was very exciting to and our team of care professionals, we’re always looking for new and innovative ways to bring the most diverse array of care options to our clients,” says East.
The Caring People journey continues to forge ahead, leveraging exceptional client experience, the highest trained care professionals, with quality, compassion, and trust.
